§ 74.01. DEFINITION.

For the purpose of this chapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
PRIVATE TOWING AND RECOVERY SERVICE. Any person who commercially offers services to tow, transport or impound motor vehicles from private property without the prior permission of the owner or operator of the vehicle by means or use of a truck or other vehicle designed for or adapted to that purpose.
